Spring has sprung and with it comes this, our first newsletter in a long time. We’ve missed you guys, and we have been hard at work in order to improve Shortly and make it an even more pleasant experience for you.

Shortly.Film & ShortlyEvents
As many of you know, we have two platforms through which we operate; one for you, our lovely community, where you can watch short films day and night (for free!!) and one for our lovely events, which our industry partners host through us. This platform is being reborn as ShortlyEvents and is THE platform to use for any and all of your festival, masterclass, webinar and other digital event needs! Filmcentrum x Shortly
Speaking of events, we will be hosting a number of them this year starting with our collaboration with FilmCentrum. We have partnered with them in in order to bring you the freshest masterclasses and insight into the industry and festival worlds from short film programmers at Cannes, Venice and others, as well as the opportunity to watch their curated programs.
The event takes place from May 21-30 as eight (8) sessions.

Filmcentrum will also show short films at Filmklubben once a month starting on May 23rd. You can watch a full hour of curated short films for €3.99!

New Community Manager at Shortly
We have added a Community Manager to our team in order to be able to listen and respond to our ever expanding short film community. We are lucky to have Amila on board, as she has an extensive background in working with film festivals and film events and understands the challenges of the short film community. It doesn’t hurt that she also enjoys social media, GIFs and communicating with people. 🤓
