3 Surprises
Fathom my surprise when I saw that we have three short films titled “Surprise”!
If that’s not a reason for a theme nothing is.
The Latin term is “suprīsa,” derived from the past participle of “suprīnāre,” which means “to seize” or “to attack unexpectedly.”
“Surprise” embodies a spectrum of emotions, from joy to fear, sparked by the unexpected. It can evoke anticipation, whether eagerly awaited or entirely unforeseen. Positive surprises bring joy, like unexpected parties or thoughtful gestures, while negative ones unsettle us with bad news or setbacks. Surprises demand quick adaptation, revealing resilience and problem-solving skills. They challenge beliefs, fostering growth and innovation by prompting us to think differently. Ultimately, surprises remind us of life’s unpredictability, urging us to embrace spontaneity and cherish its moments.
