Shortly is a video-on-demand platform where Filmmakers can submit films for free and viewers can sign up for high quality entertainment. We make short film easy to find and easy to watch. Our mission? To be your platform for short film, and the place for short film fans to come together to share, watch and love shorts. We want to bring back the glory of short film & make sure that great stories do not go unheard.
WHO WE ARE
We are a group of film lovers based all over the world, with Chief Eva Thunell, in Sweden, leading the way. Eva came up with the idea for Shortly when she was asked to produce a short film. “I was looking for a Netflix for short film – a single platform where I could access a wide range of shorts and find the exact content I was looking for,“ says Eva. “I couldn´t find one. I thought there had to be a better alternative than googling or trawling through generic video platforms – why wasn´t everything in one place and easy to find?” And that is how Shortly was born.
